Coach Cahill — Specialist Recruiting for High-Academic Athletes

Specialist Recruiting · Est. 2012

Recruiting guidance for Ivy+ bound scholar-athletes.

I work with kickers, punters, and long snappers who have the grades and the talent to play at the highest academic level of college football — and need a guide who's placed dozens of athletes there.

Three phases.
One clear path.

The recruiting process for specialists at high-academic schools is unlike anything else in football recruiting. Here's how we navigate it together.

01
Goals Assessment

We start with an honest evaluation of your son's athletic profile, academic standing, and target schools. I'll tell you where he stands in the band system — no sugar-coating — and what it will take to get offers at the level you're targeting.

02
Strategy Creation

We build a 4/4/4 school list (reach, target, likely), define the outreach timeline, and create a communication strategy built around the real recruiting calendar — not the version families find on Google.

03
Implementation

I guide every step of execution — outreach emails, follow-up sequences, junior days, unofficial visits, pre-reads, and offer decisions. I stay with families through the whole process, not just the beginning.

Not ready for 1-on-1?
Start with the playbook.

I put everything I tell families in the first session into a 12-chapter guide — the band system, pre-reads, offer timelines, email templates, and the follow-up sequences that actually work at NESCAC, Ivy, and Patriot League programs.

"The best money we spent — better than SAT tutors, college counselors, and football camps combined."

Parents · Son at Amherst College (NESCAC)

Real results. Real families.
Real schools.

"Coach Cahill helped throughout the entire process — guiding how to contact coaches, which schools to target, which visits to attend. He was honest and accurate with his assessment of my son's skillset."

GUY GIALANELLA

Parent · Son at Tufts University (NESCAC)

"The process for kicker/punter recruiting is not the same as for other positions. Coach Cahill takes the guesswork out of everything. Our son picked up D1 and D3 offers from high academic institutions."

SUK LEE

Parent · Son at University of Chicago

"He used his college coaching contacts to find the perfect place for Luca. Luca went from a basic knowledge of kicking to earning a spot on the Boston College roster, kicking off for the Eagles on opening day."

KEITH LOMBARDO

Parent · Luca Lombardo, Kicker at Boston College (ACC D1)

"We paid for SAT tutors, college counselors, and football camps. Using Brendan was the best money we spent and he never acted like the money mattered — he is motivated by the success of the player."

MICHELLE & TOM KELLEY

Parents · Son at Amherst College (NESCAC)

"His support during the recruiting process was outstanding. He reached out to college coaches multiple times on my son's behalf. I trusted him with my own son — that says it all. My son will be kicking for Cornell."

PETER LESIEWICZ

25-Year HS Coach & Parent · Son at Cornell University (Ivy)

"He is the best and most elite kicking and punting coach in the country. When we recruit a kicker/punter that has worked with him, we know they will have great technique. He is the only kicking coach I contact."

Head Football Coach, Wesleyan University (NESCAC)
